New Translation for the Marik Language Group

We have some exciting news we would like to relay to you.

There has been a completed translation of the New Testament for the Marik language group in Papua New Guinea!  It has been 36 years since the translation project began but all of that time and sacrifice was worth it.

This is what our motivation is centered around.  The people of the Marik language group can now read for themselves in a language that speaks to their heart the Word of the living God!  Praise the Lord!

An Australian news website picked this story up.  Check it out at this link: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-08-14/an-new-bible-in-papua-new-guinea/4197324

"And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles."
Acts 14:27

Recent News

We have had an exciting last couple of weeks! On July 6th we were blessed with the birth of Macy Lyn. It has been so exciting having two girls in the house!  Macy was born at home with the help of a midwife. Everything went well and she is a healthy little girl.

We are also thankful to God for the opportunities of doing a few small presentations for the awareness of what we will be doing in Papua New Guinea. We have met with some of the small group Bible studies from our church. We really love the idea of presenting to small groups. It is a more comfortable setting and allows for lots of questions. If you would like to know more about what we will be doing, we can arrange a time to meet with you and a small group of your family and friends.

We have started getting some monthly pledges. We have just over 10% already. Praise God!
